Mediation (conciliation) is a procedure in which the parties in a safe atmosphere and with the help of an impartial third party - conciliator, have the opportunity to resolve the dispute in their own way.

In the mediation process, the mediator helps the opposing parties to establish the communication interrupted by the conflict, to freely present their side of the story, to enable them to listen, hear and understand each other. Through the possibility of presenting exactly what is important to them personally and through mutual understanding of the reasons for their opposing views on the subject of the conflict, the conflicting parties have the opportunity to reach a solution and agreement of common interest.

Conciliators are most often people who have additional knowledge and skills such as communication techniques, negotiation and conflict management. Mediation counsel also play a major role in the proceedings themselves, especially lawyers who have received additional training in this area.

Mediation in private relationships involves resolving problems and improving disrupted communication by negotiating contentious issues, helping family members or other conflicting parties to identify needs, concerns and fears and devising acceptable solutions, in order to reach a common agreement with which all parties involved will be satisfied.

Family mediation is very useful in divorce, especially if the parties have children. The goal of mediation is to reach a joint parental care plan and other agreements regarding the child. It is intended for families in conflict over separate living, parental care issues, property, financial support for children, post-divorce organizations, daily life, issues related to caring for children after divorce, and intergenerational relationships. In the family mediation procedure, the parties may also agree on all other disputable issues of a property and non-property nature.

The first step of successful mediation is to get to know the participants. Even if they already know each other, it is a new acquaintance and connection. This is followed by a discussion of the cause of the conflict and what the conflict represents in general, and then a whole host of other elements are processed. The course itself is accompanied by games and various activities in which all participants participate.

In the second part of the workshop, a fictitious court case is processed with the participation of the participant, whether in the role of a judge, lawyer, witness or a third party, and the court procedure is simulated in a simple and understandable way.
3.
The third part implies mediation in the same case, ie the problem from the trial simulation. It is shown how a conversation with the help of a third party / third parties can solve the situation and it is concluded that any problem can be solved peacefully, without the use of "force" in any form.
